In what I can say is a victory to creativity and free speech former dictator of Panama, Manuel Noriega, lost his battle against activition on"Call of Duty: Black Ops II" for the likeness of one of the NPCs characters in the game had, and because it made him look a murderer and too evil.

This lawsuit is one of two been brought by famous people against videogame companies for NPCs likeness to said individuals - the other, been Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit against GTA V creator Rockstar. The lawyers for Noriega are still reviewing the decision. www.gamespot.com/articles/acti…

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge William H. Fahey stated that "the court concludes that the markeability and economic value of the works of the case come not from Noriega, but creativity, skill reputation of the defedants". Activision hire Former NYC Mayor, now a private lawyer, Rudy Giuliani as its lawyer in the suit.

Guiliani stated the following...

"This ruling is an important victory and we thank the court for protecting free speech," Giuliani said in a statement today. "This was an absurd lawsuit from the very beginning and we're gratified that in the end, a notorious criminal didn't win. This is not just a win for the makers of Call of Duty, but is a victory for works of art across the entertainment and publishing industries throughout the world."

All I can say is, well done Gentlemen, top of the hat - middle finger to you Noriega, and Lindsay you better reconsider (even though that one is taking place in a New York Court):D
